The Clay Bowl

I'm sure I've mentioned before how much I like school art projects. The Girl's "Specials" (her elective classes like gym, art, music and computer) are all on a weekly rotation. Because of this, her art projects can be more involved since they have back-to-back days to work on them. Her school in NC was on a daily rotation but they gave 3 days to art for the same reason - completing more time-consuming projects.

The Girl's latest school art project...a clay bowl with all things she loves on it.

She painted the inside with a ferret and a wolf.

She etched "Monster High" around the outside.

Then she glazed the whole thing and her art teacher fired it.

Now she's using it for all her "extra special jewelry".
